Levi Strauss & Co. frequently encountered low- and out-of-stock inventory inside their physical stores, resulting in customers leaving empty-handed. This was frustrating and unacceptable to customers and to Levi’s.

Challenge: How to save the sale?

Solution: Make inventory—at partner locations, warehouses and other nearby “silos”—readily accessible online, inside the store. I lead the design team in creating an application that could be used by store associates to locate this inventory. The same app could also “turn around” to customers offering said inventory and incentivizing online ordering from inside the store.
