Challenge: Users needed a way to monitor and visualize latency in application service(s). Latency is monitored with a thread-like recording called a "trace", which monitors all activty like calls api and database calls. There can be hundreds or thousands of traced data points, and users needed a way to see and use them.
|
Solution: Create an interactive "swim lane"-style visualization that gives users a birdseye view of all traces that can be drilled into for specific, technical details or an individual trace or a range of traces.
